Friends,
In the wake of the feeble ceasefire, I'm in the U.S on assignment for a much happier story than the Hezbollah war against Israel and the west. I'm covering the last Nefesh B'Nefesh flight of the summer that is scheduled to bring several hundred N. American Jews on aliya on September 6. Amongst them is Seattle resident, Martin Pittman. I'll be accompanying Martin on his last few frantic days of pre-aliya preparation and then I'll fly home with Martin and the other olim who leave JFK on a special Nefesh B'Nefesh charter plane on September 5.
Watch for further news here! Meantime...you can check out my photos from the war as well as more pleasant Israeli scenes at http://flickr.com/photos/jerusalemdiaries/.
See you in September!!
Judy
